TyLoo beat Tainted Minds for FACEIT Major New Challenger Stage spot

TYLOO are the first Asia Minor team to secure a spot at the FACEIT Major New Challenger Stage after defeating Tainted Minds 2-0 (16-12 Cache, 16-6 Mirage).
The start of the upper-bracket final of the Asia Minor saw Tainted Minds pick up the T-side pistol on Cache, their map pick, and continue on to a 3-0 lead by cleaning up the anti ecos. With rifles, though, TYLOO looked like the stronger side, chaining five rounds to take the lead.
Ryan "zewsy" Palmer's quicky entry opened up a round for Tainted Minds, which they managed to win and started contesting the half. The score was 8-7 for TYLOO before the switch, but the Chinese-Indonesian side won the pistol and moved up to a 13-7 lead, closing in on a map one win. Chris "ofnu" Hanley and Yaman "yam" Ergenekon then combined well to lock down A in back-to-back rounds, but a force buy upset in which Kevin "xccurate" Susanto secured four swinged things TYLOO's way, allowing them to finish the map 16-12.

Hui "DD" Wu was on point early on Mirage as the Chinese player got 12 kills in the first seven rounds, seeing his side grab a 6-1 advantage. Tainted Minds' economy was in a bad place after that, but they managed to fight their way back into the half after some eco rounds, focusing towards the A site repeatedly (8-4).
The end of the half was all about TYLOO again, as xccurate winning the AWP duel with yam and Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand pulling off a crucial flank saw them win round 14 and finish the half 11-4 up. BnTeT clutched a 1v1 against yam in the second pistol round after his side broke out on the B site, which saw TYLOO get to match point shortly, 15-4. The Australian side held them at bay for a bit, but ultimately fell to a force-buy B push by TYLOO, who won the map 16-6.
